Campus Coordinators are located all across the United States, and even Canada! They work on Greenpeace Student Network campaigns at their schools and in their communities．They organize events like film screenings and days of action．They hold meetings with elected officials, work with the media, recruit（招募） volunteers, and mobilize（動員） their campus to take action! They do all of this with excellent training and expert support from our team of Student: Network staff．Campus Coordinators develop their leadership skins and become an unstoppable force for green solutions on pus and in their community．

United Nations Climate Change Conference
The U.N. Climate Change conference opened in Copenhagen, Denmark on Dec.7th with some 15,000 delegates and observers from nearly 200 countries attending what is called the last best chance for an agreement to combat(與……戰斗) global warming.
Their aim is to find common ground, including on reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, promotion and transfer of new more eco-friendly technology and the necessary funding to make this possible, especially for the less developed and poorer nations. Scientists say a 25 to 40 percent cut in carbon-dioxide emissions is needed to control global warming. The European Union, China, and India have already pledged(保證) reductions. The United States is waiting for Congressional(國會的) approval for a proposal put forward by the Obama administration.

Well,three lucky American teenagers were able to do just that．The teens—two males and one female--got an all-expenses paid, yearlong hike to five continents.
