It's common for kids of all ages to experience school anxiety - school-related stress．This is often most apparent at the end of summer when school is about to start again, but it can occur year-round．Where does the stress and anxiety come from?
Teachers
A good experience with a caring teacher can cause a lasting impression on a child's life—so can a bad experience．While most teachers do their best to provide students with a positive educational experience, some students are better suited for certain teaching styles and classroom types than others．If there's a mismatch （不協調） between student and teacher, a child can form lasting negative feelings about school or his own abilities．
Friends
Friends can also be a source of stress．Concerns about not having enough friends, not being in the same class as friends, not being able to keep up with friends in one particular area or another, and interpersonal conflicts are a few of the very common ways kids can be stressed by their social lives at school．Dealing with these issues alone can cause anxiety in even the most confident kids．
Bullies （欺凌弱小者）
Things have changed in the world of bullies since I was a kid．The good news is that
teachers and parents are paying more attention．Many schools now have anti-bullying pro-
grams and policies．Though bullying does still happen, help is generally more easily accessible
than before．
The bad news is that bullying has gone high-tech．Many students use the Internet, cell phones and other media devices to bully other students, and this type of bullying often gets very aggressive．One reason is that bullies can be anonymous （匿名的） and enlist other bullies to make their targets miserable．Another reason is that they don't have to face their targets． So it's easier to get rid of any empathy that they may otherwise feel．There are ways to fight against "cyber-bullying", but many parents aren't aware of them - and many bullied kids feel too overwhelmed to deal with the situation．

In this fast-paced world, many values are undergoing major changes. While people traditionally prioritize caring, sharing and generosity in life and work, modern people seem to be
more self-absorbed or self-concerned.
Modern people act selfishly to survive the harsh competition of life. They say that it is a jungle out there. To survive, you have to fight with whatever means that come handy. Obviously greedy and selfishness go perfectly well with such ideas. In a company, employees do everything they can to get better pay and higher position, even at the cost of colleagues. We are in any way advocating any selfish conduct. It is just that people are pressured to act in a certain way due to outside influences
. In spite of common practice, it is hard to conclude that modern society is built on greed and selfishness, both of which are not newly invented vocabulary. In ancient times people also did greedy and selfish things though such behaviors were more condemned then. But we can not ignore the fact that people in the past lived a relatively more isolated life and faced less pressure compared with their modern counterparts.
Are we happier to share with others and be generous to them? There is no fixed answer, either. Some people take great pleasure helping and giving to others while others feel happy doing the opposite. But I personally think that people should not be too selfish. Caring for others can actually encourage the development of a mutually beneficial relationship.
In conclusion, modern people appear to be more self-centered than those in the past due to strong outside pressure. However, we should encourage people to know the importance of being caring and generous and to build a mutually beneficially relationship with others.

Or they might clean the house so she does not have to do it. Fathers might take care of the children that day so the mothers can rest, or take a walk, or read a book. Many mothers feel that this free time on their special day is a very good Mother’s Day gift.
Some families will get together for a meal at a local eating place. This means that mothers do not have to cook on their special day. Coming out to dinner has become a tradition on Mother’s Day. As a result, restaurants are extremely crowded that day. It has become one of the busiest days of the year for the restaurant industry in the United States.
Now Mother’s Day has been an international festival and more than 40 countries have accepted this festival.
